I appreciated Mr Parkar going over my diagnosis clearly and giving treatment options. He is an excellent surgeon. I felt well prepared, both pre and post operation. I would happily be referred to him again.

Dr Asif Parker was so friendly and helpful throughout my operation and consultation I would recommend him to any one .He kept me informed from start to finish and even on my check up after the operation such a kind person .My operation went smooth with no complications and he checked in on me to see how I felt while I was in hospital .Dr Parker also answered all my questions no mater how small or silly they may of sounded .I do need my other knee replacement done and I'm hoping he is the surgeon I get that's how much he has impressed me I wish to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Mr Parkar completed my full knee replacement on 29.4.3022, operation was a complete success, I could flaten my leg. Something I had not been able to do before. I was also in pain night and at rest. After the initial pain of the op died down, I was no longer in pain. Mr Parkar kept me informed, all the way
He said "we have put a lot of work into your new knee, look afterit!". He and his team have been world class, I could not have wished for better treatment, anywhere in the world! I saw Mr Parkar on the 30.6.23, when he discharged me. Thank you Mr Parkar and the NHS. Brilliant service.

Mr Parkar was trained through the prestigious Royal London Trauma & Orthopaedic training rotation programme. He has done fellowships at the Barts health NHS trust, London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS foundation trust, London and a north American fellowship based in Calgary. These are level one trauma centres and tertiary referral centre for complex Orthopaedic procedures.
His NHS practice is based at Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital, London. His practice is mainly focussed around sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction and computer assisted joint replacement for patients with existing deformities. He is one of the few surgeons in the country with fellowship training in performing hip replacement through direct anterior approach. He is also the infection control lead for the department.
He has been actively involved in research and has published his work in several peer reviewed journals. He has a degree in computer and robotic assisted joint replacement. He has a holistic and evidence based approach towards patients care.
Mr Parkar was awarded certificate of excellence for providing great care "I want great Care" in 2022 & 2023. He was also awarded trainer of the year 2022 through Royal National Orthopaedic Stanmore Training Programme for registrars.
